My fondest memories of my childhood include watching my Mom creating and crafting the most wonderful things. And I wanted to do it too!! How frustrating it must have been for her to watch me struggling and learning, and how wonderful to watch the joy in a little girls face as I mastered the basics and more. Drawn to wool and textiles I learned to spin, dye and weave in high school. Occasionally straying to other mediums I always found my way back.
Currently I live in a small town in Northern British Columbia. Mild mannered accountant by day and lunatic fibre freak by night. I share my home with my wonderful dogs Chloe Monster and Scout the Snout. We are all looked down upon by the far superior queen of the house Bella Cat.
Hello Sqwish…Iam a fellow B.C. resident..Van Island..I have just arrived in Desert Hot Springs California,were we spend ..the winter..I am a KnitWit..my friend an I sell our knitting in I Craft..not a whole lot of success…but we love it.Your patterns are lovely..thanx for putting them out for us to see…we do not use them to sell our stuff…we sell mostly childrens hats..they are so easy to make …would love to here from you ….Lorraine

Thanks so much for you kind words and good luck with your knitting business. I love that I get to meet so many people from all over the world (and at home too) because of the magic of the interweb. I hope it is nice and warm there, it is very wintery here now. The great thing about winter in the north is that we almost always have sun and the sunrises are gorgeous.

Is the Sqwish Cuddle Toes Sock available to buy in the England anywhere? I love the designs you have put on your website, but have not seen the yarn over here. If the yarn is not available what weight is the yarn so that I can try and see if there is anything similar.
