These dainty gloves are great for taking the chill off while keeping your fingers free – for knitting or whatever :). I knit these up with Yoga Toes which has bamboo in the blend. They are soft and sqwishie. The lace pattern is simple and perfect for beginner lace knitters

When I saw these pop up in my friend activity on rav I knew these would be a great Christmas present for my daughters clarinet teacher and I cast on right away.
I do have a question about Row 2 in the twin leaf pattern, should it read:
Round 2 : Needle 1 and 2 – knit
k1, p2, k6, k3tog, yo, k1, yo, p2, yo, k1, yo sk2p, K6, p2
Your right, thanks 🙂
I have a question. When you finish with the gusset increasing and move the 18 stitches to the holder and cast on 3 stitches on needle 1, you now have 15 stitches on needle 1 instead of 14? (k4, cast on 3 stitches using backwards loop cast on, k8) I’m a fairly new knitter and don’t see ahead to well to know what might be needed.
Thanks
That is correct, that way when you get to the top to do the ribbing on the 2 plain knit needles you will have an odd number of stitches. This results in your ribbing starting and ending with a knit stitch.
What a wonderful idea. I would love to buy a pair of those.
Hi,
I just found this pattern on ravelry and really liked it… I bought yarn to make it and maybe I’m being really dense but I don’t see where you say how many to cast on.
Anxiously awaiting to cast on,
Abbey
Never mind I found it!
